What to do when camping can be a problem. In previous posts we have featured the World’s Largest Waterslide. At the time this was in New Zealand but you can now ride it here in the US. The fact remains that we have the best natural water features anywhere.
Take Slide Rock National Park in Arizona.
It’s named after the famous Slide Rock, a stretch of slippery creek bottom including a natural water chute.
At Slide Rock you may not move as fast as you might on the World’s Longest Water Slide but there is a special sort of pleasure of sliding on natural rock and water flows.
Slide Rock does offer lots of cliff jumping opportunities. My sons were always delighted to spend hours just jumping in the water - the higher up they were the better.
