Our post on the Ford F550 based Earthroamer was one of the most popular posts we have ever done on Camping Sage. Most people adored the go anywhere, total luxury approach.
Obviously it came in for the usual criticisms:
- RVs are not really camping
- Why go camping if you want to take all your modern conveniences with you
- It’ll pollute everywhere it goes
- At $750k it really should be able to go everywhere and I definitely want every luxury possible
There were a few people who didn’t like it for other reasons:
- It’s not rugged enough
- It’s too small (it is only fitted to a Ford F550 base)
For these people we bring you the Action Mobil XRS 7200 Expedition Vehicle. These beasts cross deserts, climb up mountains and cross rivers with ease. If you really do want to be able to go anywhere - this is the vehicle for you.
Personally, if I wanted to camp in something this ugly I would join the Army…
