We had some fantastic feedback on our article on the World’s longest waterslide - thanks to everyone who commented over on Facebook.
The most common question is, not surprisingly, where do we go to ride it.
Originally, the slide was constructed in Auckland, New Zealand. The original video was from an event on the 27th and 28th of March 2015 at Jonkers Farm, by Bethels Beach, in Auckland, New Zealand. The good news is that the slide has been brought over from New Zealand and has been reconstructed at Action Park in New Jersey. President of Mountain Creek/Action Park Bill Benneyan immediately exclaimed, “We ‘gotta have this!”
Action Park, known as the world’s wildest and most unique Waterpark, continues to live up to its reputation by bringing the World’s Longest Waterslide to the United States and building it on the slopes of Mountain Creek’s ski trails.
The slide is currently not open to the public, as the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs has yet to approve the slide as a ride for the park. Benneyan said the approval process, which he said takes six months, would not be completed before the end of this summer.
