The Transforming Mini Camping Trailer
If you really have to tow a camping trailer you really, really want it to be as small as possible. And there are lots of mini trailers on the market. Trouble is, when you get to the campsite you really want as much trailer space as possible.
French company Beauer think they have this cracked with their x3 trailers. At the touch of a button these trailers expand to 3 times their towing size givin you much more living space.
Lots of thought has gone into the interior design too. Once transformed you have a double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/dining area. Unlike folding designs the furniture and fixtures in the x 3 have been designed to slide inside each other - rather like a Russion doll. In theory, 20 seconds after pressing the button the camper is ready for use.
Strip Windows ensure there is plenty of light during the day giving a very light and airy feel. Fittings are designed to provide a touch of luxury.
There is something that just seems so French when the design for an ultra compact, expanding camping trailer includes a pendant light fitting. Somehow we think you are likely to grow to hate this bruise forming component…
