As we said in the headline - The result is quite extraordinary.

They may well be right but there is not escaping the fact that, seen from the front, the World’s most luxurious motor home looks to be modelled on a Star Wars Storm Trooper.

We’ve looked at quite a few motorhomes over the last months. Closest to our heart (after all, camping should be more about getting back to nature) is the F550 Based Earth Roamer. Closer to the eleMMent Palazzo (that’s not a typo - it really does seem to be the way to spell its name) is the top end Amphibious Motorhome. I guess if you can afford the eleMMent you won’t be interested in an Amphibious version. Why compromise - you can always use your yacht!

This beasts luxury simple oozes out. Like it or not the appearance grabs attention. Right from the cab we start to see the level of comfort, technology and innovation.

If you are fortunate to see one of these on the Freeway don’t be surprised is it rapidly passes you. Capable of well over 90mph we just can’t see any local sheriff pulling one of these over for speeding. Who needs that sort of trouble anyway.

Right out of the blocks the Palazzo sports 2 floors with the upper floor reached by a real staircase. None of those quick access ladders with this baby.

There are 2 kingsize bedrooms, luxury bathroom, large lounge and bar. If you need more space there is pop-out expansion which gives an additional 75% of space

The bedrooms and other rooms exude luxury and comfort.

Perhaps the final piece that really sets this motorhome apart is the incredible roof top terrace.

Striking it may be. Camping it ain’t.

Expect to see this at Grand Prix or Nascar paddocks. It’s probably got a home with top end movie stars on set. At over $3m it is not for everyone.

Don’t expect to see one in your motorhome park next time you go camping.
