In the spirit of bringing you a wide variety of things you could do on your next camping trip - how about visiting an Alpine Ski resort in Summer.
Obviously there is not a lot of snow but you can still have an amazing downhill experience.

Alpine Coasters are fairly common in the Alps but the one at Meiders claims to be one of the steepest and most spectacular. Coasters are the small, wheeled carts that run on purpose built monorail tracks.
The guy in the video does the run without use of brakes.
Be warned, the carts do have brakes and are used by families with young children. If you want to get the full, high speed experience you are going to need to choose your time carefully.
