Wherever in the World I go camping I am always likely to take a hike to look at any nearby Waterfalls. If possible I like to swim in the plunge pool at the bottom and shower under the cascade.
Another favorite is to find falls where you can walk behind the cascade like Moul Falls in British Columbia. It is like passing into another World with amazing, abrupt changes in light, sound and temperature. For me it provides a kind of instant peace.
I was fascinated by a post from HikingCrew.com on the swimming pool at the top of Victoria Falls - somewhere I really want to go one day. The ability to lean out of a rock pool and look down over 100′ to the base of the waterfall must be totally awesome.
So, with my love of waterfalls I was fascinated by this YouTube video on the Underwater Waterfall just off the coast of Mauritius.
